Eternal Sonata (Torasuti Beru Shopan no Yume?, Trusty Bell: Chopin's Dream) is a role-playing video game developed by Japanese studio tri-Crescendo and published by Namco Bandai Games, released in 2007 on Xbox 360 and in 2008 on PlayStation 3 with additional content. The game centers on the Polish pianist Frédéric Chopin, who died of tuberculosis at the age of 39.
The story takes place in the pianist's dreams during his last hours which are influenced by his music and his life and in which he himself is a playable character among others. The game features Chopin's compositions played by Stanislav Bunin that can be heard during the interludes between the different chapters, while the game's original soundtrack was composed by Motoi Sakuraba.
