Donkey Kong Country Returns, known as Donkey Kong Returns, is a 2.5D platform video game developed by Retro Studios and published by Nintendo in late 2010 for Wii and Nintendo 3DS in 2013 under the title Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. This is the first game in the Donkey Kong Country series not to be developed by Rareware.
The game begins with a new group of evil creatures, called the Tikis, waking up on Donkey Kong Island to hypnotize the animals there so they can take over Donkey Kong's banana stash. He will therefore have to recover the bananas with the help of Diddy Kong.
