WONDERBOOK: BOOK OF SPELLS (PLAYSTATION 3 PS3)

Wonderbook is a series of action video games on PlayStation 3 using the Wonderbook, an object shaped like books. The games are coded in LUA, published by Sony Computer Entertainment, developed by SCE London Studio.

Two games written by JK Rowling are part of the Harry Potter universe:

Wonderbook: Book of Spells
Wonderbook: The Book of Potions
The games consist of short stories, poems, magic lessons and simple puzzles to solve.

A cardboard book with pictures and symbols is placed at a suitable distance from the PlayStation Eye camera. The book allows the player to display different sequences on the screen with which he can interact using the PS Move controller (magic wand). He points to the passage of the book he wishes to read to activate a game sequence on the screen. To learn a spell of the universe, the player speaks the incantation aloud and traces in the air the corresponding symbol with his joystick / wand. For the second opus, the player can prepare magic potions and use them to meet challenges.
