WIDGET (NINTENDO NES)

Widget is a game about a perpetually smiling purple alien who must save the earth from a gang of alien invaders. The action consists of jumping and side-scrolling shooting. However, Widget has the ability to transform into a variety of other creatures and objects ("widgets") that have application in different situations. These alternative forms of widgets include a cannon, a mouse, a rockman, a birdman, and a dolphin. The transformation uses magic points that need to be replenished. Widget also communicates with an assistant named Mega Brain through a wristwatch.
