UEFA Euro 2008 is another football game from EA Sports. This time, it's basically FIFA 08 modified to allow the player to experience the European Championship this summer.
Euro 2008 allows you to control any European national football team in different ways. For example, you may decide to create your own character and play your position on the pitch as well as possible in order to become good enough to lead your team. It's basically a slightly modified version of FIFA 08's "Be a Pro" mode.
You can also try out different challenges and tournament modes to unlock extras or just test your skills. You can play the full league experience, including the qualifying stages, or you can skip straight to the group stages. You can also play a very comprehensive challenge mode in which you try to make your nation the best in European football by clearing different challenges against all other European teams.
As with FIFA 08, the PC and console versions are quite different. In fact, they are based on completely different game engines. While the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions feature state-of-the-art graphics and a new and improved control scheme, the PC version still looks and works like the 2006 version.
