Super Mario Maker (スーパーマリオメーカー, Sūpā Mario Mēkā?) is a side-scrolling platform video game and level editor developed by Nintendo EAD and published by Nintendo, released in September 2015 for Wii U as part of the 30th anniversary of the Super Mario series. It is an application for players to create and play their own levels based on the styles of Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World and New Super Mario Bros. U. A port called Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS was released for Nintendo 3DS in December 2016.

It is compatible with the Nintendo Network.
