It is an "uncensored" version of Resident Evil released in 1997 on PlayStation. This game is differentiated by new angles of view, new arrangements of certain objects and new clothing. However, there remains a final censorship in the European and American versions of the title: Kenneth's head during the first encounter with a zombie still does not appear. This is however clearly visible in the Japanese versions of the title.
