RBI Baseball 2 features all 26 major league teams, each with a full roster. You can choose any National or American League team. You can even play one of the 1989 All-Star teams.
The game features Single Player and Two Player options as well as a Password mode to allow you to play a full season (one match against each team in the division). Plus, a watch mode gives you the best seat in the house for a computer-controlled match.
This second version is similar to the original game in terms of gameplay. This time around the game uses teams and stats from the 1989 season. Just like in the original, you can see what it's like to pitch in as Ricky Henderson, toss the ball like Nolan Ryan and catch a line driving like Ozzie Smith.
