Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete is an enhanced remake of Lunar: The Silver Star.
The remake features 32-bit graphics (as opposed to the original's 16-bit); many locations and characters have been redesigned. The anime-style cutscenes of the original turned into full-motion animated films. Some scenes have been added and/or extended.
Although the main storyline remains the same in the remade version, changes have been made to certain quests, dialogues and motivations of certain characters. A few characters that play a role in plot development have been added. Some of these changes also affect gameplay: for example, a certain character accompanies the party on a major quest in the remake, while in the original that character stayed at home.
