Dark Cloud is an action-RPG video game developed by Level-5 and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 2. It was released in Japan on December 14, 2000, then May 29, 2001 in North America, and September 21 in the same year in Europe. It was then reissued in 2002 in the United States in the Greatest Hits range, and in Japan in The Best and PS2 Classics ranges in 2002 and 2012, and finally for download on the PlayStation Store, for the PlayStation 4, since December 2015 .
