Brooktown High is a dating sim type game, where the player takes control of a created character, male or female, with a variety of customization options like their clothes and personality that will determine how other students react. The main idea is to become a major player by the end of the senior year and become the popular kid in school.
The player navigates the game, the main objective is to make friends and acquire girlfriends/boyfriends and interact with various social circles on campus, from nerds to jocks, preparations to outcasts with 20 characters different males and females they can date. There is also an attraction gauge that will show the player what NPCs think of him.
Players can interact with these characters through a series of choices presented to them, with the outcome of conversations depending on how the player responds to them and the NPC perceives them.
