1942 (NINTENDO NES)

1942 is a vertical scrolling shooter for one or two players. The year is 1942 and you are a daring "Super Ace" fighter pilot. You start and complete each of the many levels on an aircraft carrier, then pilot your aircraft into combat against the enemy on sea and land. After destroying certain air formations, you can collect several different bonuses to increase your firepower and chances of survival. You can also roll your plane to avoid enemy attacks 3 times per life. There are 24 levels, the first being Midway and the last The Final Area.
